J-1ビザ研修に対するエッセイについて書きたいと思います。

まず、エッセイに含めるべきポイントは、以下の点です。

研修への参加動機や目的
学歴・今までの職歴と研修内容との関連性
研修終了後のキャリアプラン

これを、英語で書かないといけません。

私は、マーケティング関連の職種でインターンを行うため

何故アメリカでマーケティング関連職種のインターンを行いたいのか
日本ではどんなマーケティング関連の仕事に就いていたのか
日本に帰国後はどんな関連職に就きたいのか

以上の点を書きました

１．研修への参加動機や目的の部分

I am writing to apply for J-1 visa for the US, to train at 【会社名】. I applied for this training program because I would like to learn marketing in the U.S, as America is one of the most advanced countries in marketing field, and I would like to be a marketer in the future in Japan.

２． 学歴・今までの職歴と研修内容との関連性

I worked as a marketing consultant and marketing researcher in Japan, but I just worked only for Japanese market. Therefore, I would like to learn the business in American market. Also, it would be very good opportunity to do training in the U.S to gain the knowledge of marketing, because America is one of the most advanced countries in marketing field.

３．研修終了後のキャリアプラン

After I come back to Japan from 18 months training program, I will work for 会社名, and I will be assigned to international business department.(★帰国後の就職先が決まっている場合はその旨を記載する。)

My career goal is becoming a marketing consultant who promotes Japanese products to foriegn countries. I am planning to work for a ○○ company that help Japanese companies to expand their business to foreign markets after developing my career in the U.S.

Japanese economy has been shrinking for last 20 years. That is why Japanese companies should sell their products to foreign countries. However, a lot of small and middle-sized Japanese companies do not have enough knowledge and appropriate staff to promote their products internationally. Therefore, I would like to help those companies to sell their products to foreign market as a professional marketer in the future.

I respectfully request you to approve my stay and provide J-1 Visa to train in the U.S.
